The 2025 edition of the Guía Peñín has awarded an excellent rating—90 points or more—to 10 wines from Bodega Sommos. This includes 6 wines from the D.O.P. Somontano and the 4 wines we produce in Murero (Zaragoza), achieving maximum success, as the guide permits a maximum of 6 wines per winery to be submitted.
The scores for the D.O.P. Somontano wines are as follows: 90 points for Sommos Colección Chardonnay 2022; 91 points for Sommos Colección Garnacha Blanca 2022, Sommos Colección Tempranillo 2020, Sommos Colección Syrah 2020, and Sommos Premium 2019; and 92 points for Sommos Colección Cabernet Sauvignon 2020.
For the Sommos Garnacha wines from Murero, the scores are 91 points for Alquez 2021 and Tiaso 2021; and 93 points for Araia 2021 and Lamín 2020, making these our two highest-rated wines in this edition of the guide.
These ratings provide us the opportunity to showcase 10 wines at the XXIV Salón de los Mejores Vinos de España, Spain’s premier wine event, which will take place on November 18-19, 2024, at IFEMA MADRID.
