Glárima Joven Blanco
GLÁRIMA is an exuberant, playful wine for enjoying the small pleasures of daily living.
Vines on north-facing slopes surround the winery on high-trellises using the unilateral “cordon de royat” system. Drip irrigation. Plant density of 4,115 vines/ha with a production of 8,500 kg/ha. Soils with medium-high production levels are controlled by natural ground cover.
Both varieties are harvested during the second week of August. Mechanical night harvest.
Cold soak maceration for four hours. Alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature between 14°C and 16°C. The harvest from each parcel ferments separately in cement tanks.
Lees ageing and stirring for three months.
Colour: Pale lemon with greenish reflections.
Nose: Orange blossom aromas accompany tropical notes including pineapple and passion fruit.
Palate: Complex and round with vibrant, fresh acidity.
Serving Temperature: 10º to 11ºC.
