TEMPRANILLO

VINEYARD

High-trellised vines trained using the unilateral “cordon de royat” system in vineyards surrounding the winery itself. Drip irrigation. Plant density of 4,115 vines/ha with a production of 8,000 kg/ha. Soils with medium-high production levels are controlled by natural ground cover.

HARVEST

Our Tempranillo was harvested the last week of August and the Merlot came in the first week of September. Mechanical night harvest.

WINEMAKING

Macerated for 72 hours before alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature between 24°C and 26°C. The harvest from each parcel is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks.

AGEING

Lees ageing and stirring for three months

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Clean cherry red robe with very clean purple reflections.
Nose: Strong, clean aromatics on the nose. Hints of fruit and floral aromas amplify the wine’s complexity, intensity and quality.
Palate: Its smooth, broad attack is structured and highly nuanced with an extended floral aftertaste.
Serving Temperature:  16º to 18ºC.
