Del Somontano al mundo

Somontano’s diverse soils, altitudes, and microclimates allow us to work with a wide range of grape varieties. But how do these same grapes express themselves in other parts of the world?
In this comparative tasting, we will match four single-varietal wines from our Colección range against four international wines made from the same grape varieties in some of the world’s most renowned wine regions.
A journey through eight wines to explore different interpretations of each grape variety—without leaving Somontano. We’ll finish with a light bite before the opening night of the Somontano Wine Festival kicks off.

One of the summer’s premier events returns to Barbastro with four nights dedicated to wine, gastronomy, and culture.
In an open-air venue, you can sample a wide selection of wines from the Somontano Designation of Origin, paired with tapas crafted by some of the finest restaurants in the province of Huesca.

Between Chilindrón, Basil, and Sommos

Certain dishes signal that the San Lorenzo festivities are right around the corner. In Huesca, chicken al chilindrón is one of the true icons.
During these dates, more than twenty local bars and restaurants across the city will serve their own twist on this traditional dish from Upper Aragon—available as tapas, small plates, or set menus, paired with our wines.
A perfect opportunity to explore Huesca, gather around a table, and enjoy one of San Lorenzo’s most representative flavors.

Eclipse Wine Pairing Tasting

Enjoy a unique experience at Bodega Sommos, where fine wine meets one of the year’s most anticipated astronomical events.
Thanks to our privileged location for observing the eclipse, we have prepared an evening where wine, gastronomy, and skygazing take center stage. The total eclipse lasts only a few minutes, but we intend to enjoy every second of it!
