SOMMOS PREMIUM. A fresh, modern, New World wine.
Grapes selected from our Montesa vineyards. Vines trained on a high trellis at 1.8 m and spur-pruned using a unilateral “cordon de royat” system supported by spiral wiring. Plant density of 4,115 vines/ha.
Mechanical night harvest during the second and third weeks of September. All grapes undergo selection at the sorting table.
Cold soak maceration for three days. Following the traditional method, each variety is fermented separately in temperature-controlled French oak vats. Malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels.
Aged on its lees for 14 months in specially selected new French oak barrels with an extra-fine grain.

Nose: Robust, with fruit marmalade aromas harmonised over toasty, mineral background notes.
