VINEYARD

“Cordon libero”-style vineyard trained at a height of 1.3 m at our Montesa estates. Dry farming method used in sandy loam soils with low organic content.
Average production of 4,500 kg/ha.

HARVEST

Mechanical night harvest during the second and third weeks of September. Parcels are harvested individually, resulting in distinct wines. All grapes undergo selection at the sorting table and barrels are filled by the flow of gravity.

WINEMAKING

Fermentation between 26°C and 28°C, followed by approximately 15 days of maceration for Cabernet and Merlot with 5 days for Syrah. Malolactic fermentation in cement tanks.

AGEING

Aged in 1-2 year-old French oak barrels for 12 months and subsequently blended.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Intense ruby red with purplish rim.
Nose: Complex aromas evoke dried fruits and leaves together with notes from the barrel such as cinnamon and cigar box.
Palate: A smooth, subtle attack with delicate, supple tannins transforms and fills the palate with pleasant sensations that linger long into its aftertaste.
Serving Temperature: 16º to 18ºC.
