The 2027 edition of Guía Peñín has once again recognised Bodega Sommos and Sommos Garnacha among Spain’s leading wineries, with a total of nine wines awarded over 90 points.
In this latest edition, five wines from Bodega Sommos and four wines from Sommos Garnacha received outstanding ratings from the prestigious Spanish wine guide, reaffirming both wineries’ commitment to quality, authenticity and the expression of their respective terroirs.
For Bodega Sommos, in the D.O. Somontano, Sommos Colección Gewürztraminer, Sommos Colección Chardonnay, Sommos Colección Merlot and Sommos Premium were awarded 91 points, while Sommos Colección Syrah achieved 90 points.
These results reflect the continuous work carried out both in the vineyard and in the winery, with a clear focus on crafting wines with identity, balance and a distinctive varietal character.
Guía Peñín is considered one of the most influential references in the Spanish wine industry, evaluating thousands of wines each year and serving as an essential guide for both wine professionals and consumers worldwide.
These new recognitions further strengthen the positioning of both projects, highlighting the singularity of Somontano and Calatayud through wines that faithfully express the character and identity of each origin.
